Siavash Mahvis: Iranian Artist in Denmark

My name is Siavash Mahvis, a painter from Iran. I am an Iranian artist currently living in Denmark. For nearly thirty years, I have been captivated by light, and with colors, pencils, and brushes, I have expressed this passion. I hope that the hand of light will continue to guide me in my artistic journey.

In recent years, I have been deeply involved in teaching students painting and drawing.

I am now in Aalborg, Denmark. On this website, I present some of my works to you.

My preferred style is realism and depicting nature. I also have many years of experience in figurative drawing from live models and quick sketches. I graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, but for many years I have worked in my own studio, expanding my experiences and knowledge.

I am both fascinated by hyperrealistic painting, which requires time, precision, and patience, and by fast and spontaneous sketches. However, most artists tend to gravitate toward one of these two approaches.
